Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 2 garlic cloves minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the bread into desired thickness.
  • In a bowl, mix minced garlic (or garlic powder), olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the garlic mixture evenly over each slice of bread.
  • Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Optional: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For a cheesy twist, sprinkle a small amount of low-fat Parmesan cheese on top before baking. You can also make it vegan by using plant-based butter instead of olive oil.
